TLC Tribe: Our Mission and Vision

Our Foster Care Ministry is dedicated to embodying God’s compassion for children and families by empowering those who open their homes through foster care and adoption. We strive to connect foster and adoptive parents with caring individuals and families within True Life Church, fostering a community of support and encouragement. Through our efforts, we aim to create a nurturing environment where every child and family can thrive, reflecting the heart of God in all we do.
We envision a community where no foster or adoptive family feels isolated, and every member of True Life Church has the opportunity to contribute to this vital mission. By building strong, supportive relationships, we seek to ensure that every child experiences love, care, and a sense of belonging.

Meet Our Ministry Leader

Stacy McClure leads our Tribe Ministry with firsthand experience, deep compassion, and an unwavering belief that every child deserves a loving, stable home. As a foster and adoptive mom of two children, she understands both the challenges and the incredible joys that come with opening your home and heart.

She is passionate about equipping and encouraging families who are exploring foster care or adoption. She brings practical wisdom, spiritual encouragement, and authentic empathy to every conversation, helping families feel supported and never alone in the journey.

Her heart is to see the church rise up to care for vulnerable children and to create a community where foster and adoptive families are seen, strengthened, and surrounded with love. Stacy whole-heartedly believes they are not just “foster kids.” They are image-bearers who happen to be in foster care. God defines their idenity. Not broken circumstances.
