“According to your faith let it be done to you” (Matthew 9:29, NIV)

Faith is not just believing in God, it’s trusting Him enough to act on what He has promised, even before we see the results. In today’s world, we often hear, “I’ll believe it when I see it.” But God calls us to live the opposite way: “You’ll see it when you believe it.” Faith is the key that unlocks the door to His promises.

Hebrews 11:1 (GNT) says, “To have faith is to be sure of the things we hope for, to be certain of the things we cannot see.” Faith asks us to trust in what’s invisible to the natural eye but fully visible to God. This is why faith is a prerequisite to receiving what He has planned. When there’s no faith, His plans for our lives are put on pause, not because He is unwilling, but because He operates in response to our trust.

Consider the Wright brothers, who envisioned flight long before it became reality. Their belief in the unseen possibility of flight propelled them to create what many thought was impossible. Or Alexander Graham Bell, who dreamed of voices traveling across wires. These inventions, which shaped our world, required faith in things that had never been seen or done before.

Faith is the foundation for breakthrough, not just in science or innovation, but in our spiritual lives. Without faith, we are spectators in our own stories. With it, we partner with God to bring His plans into reality.

What are you waiting to see before you believe? Could it be that God is asking you to trust first, to take that leap of faith before the evidence appears? Let 2025 be the year you say, “I believe You, Lord,” and take the next step forward.
