Many of us come to a point in our lives where we want and/or need to start over. The pressures, pain, and struggles of this life can easily overwhelm any of us, and they often do. No matter how close we are to God and how much effort we put into our spiritual development, we will never attain perfection in this life, and that’s okay! Until we enter God’s Kingdom, we will always contend with our human nature and need the continued opportunity to start fresh with God.

Hosea 6:3 says, Oh, that we might know the Lord! Let us press on to know him.
He will respond to us as surely as the arrival of dawn or the coming of rains in early spring
.”

God is ready for us to start over. He offers forgiveness, healing, and restoration. These things allow us the opportunity to put the past behind us and look forward to what’s ahead. Spring is a wonderful time to enter that season of rebirth in the Lord. The world is blooming all around us after winter and that creates a spark of inspiration inside us as well.

God can heal anything that’s broken within you that’s preventing you from starting over. As hard as it can be, it’s crucial that we bring it to Him. He can bring us peace and help us to move on in a way that nothing else can. It’s a tough but necessary step if we are to begin again as spring arrives.

There are no limits to the times you can start over with Him. He understands our human nature and knows that we will make mistakes. That’s why He offers us this continual forgiveness so that we are never trapped in our sins. Instead, we can move past them and continue in our relationship with Him.

All we must do is turn over our lives to Him. We place our sin in His hands and allow His forgiveness to cast it away. Then, it’s simple! He will guide our path through the presence of the Holy Spirit within us. We don’t start over without a clear direction ahead. God is there to not only point us in the right direction but to walk alongside us every step of the way. Do you need to start over, there is no better time than today!
